Trinity Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre
With performing arts ever evolving our professional diploma course provides students with the necessary tools to prepare for a varied and sustainable career.
The curriculum is designed to develop artistic, creative, technical and professional skills to become a well-rounded performer. The course balances the foundations of the triple-threat performer with essential life skills.
Students enter the course with a range of different skills and experiences, so the first year is dedicated to introducing a clear understanding of technique. This awareness will enable the students to strengthen their knowledge and development.
Students build on the ideas and intentions of the first year, with a heightened focus on the development of technique. Students are also encouraged to explore performance skills, allowing the individual’s personality, confidence and style to emerge.
In the final year, attention is turned to specific concerns within the profession. Performance will become an integral part of every class, whilst continuing to reinforce good technique. Students are expected to work as professionals, guided by the college to audition and gain employment within the industry.
After graduating the Trinity diploma can be converted to a BA (Hons) degree through Middlesex University whilst still working in the profession.
Students are also encouraged to study BTDA vocational graded examinations.
Tuition fees are paid termly in advanced. Selected students that show outstanding promise at the audition may be awarded a full or part scholarship.
