About Us
Student Welfare Maintaining high levels of fitness is vital and if an injury occurs then it is treated and monitored accordingly. A sports physiotherapist visits the college once a week to ensure health and fitness. Students are advised to take personal insurance cover. Pastoral Care A performer has a very demanding life and to ensure the wellbeing of each student the college has an appointed nurse that visits weekly. The student is guided on issues concerning health, nutrition and may discuss any personal problems that arise. Accommodation The college has close collaborations with local property holders to provide college only student accommodation. All accommodation is in close proximity to the college and features all the necessary amenities. On acceptance of the course the student is sent the relevant information. |
Building & Facilities The college is situated in the city centre of Leicester with easy access by bus, train, or easy to drive to and park on the colleges rooftop parking area. The college is set in a large three story building and has its own self contained performance space. The building is also home to the BTDA head office and the Ann Oliver stage school. LCPA aims to provide professional training in all aspects of dance and theatre, enabling the student to attain the highest possible standard. The course is targeted towards working with the individual’s potential to reflect the requirements of the profession.
