About Us

LCPA aims to provide professional training, enabling students to attain the highest possible standard. The course is designed to work with the individual’s potential to reflect the requirements of the profession.

This is because we:

  • Encourage students to select pathways that provide for the development of abilities and interests.
  • Enable students to work towards qualifications that meet their aspirations for a range of careers.
  • Provide all students with opportunities to experience and understand a broad base of skills.
  • Place an emphasis on technique and performance.

Student Welfare

Maintaining high levels of fitness is vital and if an injury occurs the student is referred to the relevant health professional and monitored accordingly by the college. A sports physiotherapist visits the college once a week to ensure health and fitness. Students are advised to take personal insurance cover.

Pastoral Care

A performer has a very demanding life and to ensure the well being of each student the college has an appointed nurse who visits weekly. Students are guided on issues concerning health, nutrition and may discuss any personal problems that arise.
