From the Principal

The Leicester College of Performing Arts was founded in 1999. It is based in the East Midlands at the BTDA Head Office and offers a three year full time professional Performing Arts Course.

The course is open to students 16 years and over who are seeking first class training in all aspects of Dance and Theatre.

At LCPA, we believe in giving a balance to student life so that whilst you are perfecting the art of performance you are also gaining Vocational Qualifications leading to the teaching side of the profession.

All training is provided by highly motivated professionals, each an expert in their own field. The close staff-to-student ratio enables us to deliver students with confidence, individuality, motivation and strong technique.

On completion of the course our aims are to help place students in their chosen professional career. So if you have a passion for performing arts, let us help you achieve your ultimate goal.
