Acting (Guest Tutor)

Katie trained in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Theatre credits include:

Hypatia in ‘Misalliance’, Ellie Dunn in ‘Heartbreak House’ (Shaw’s Corner), Ilsa in ‘Improbable Fiction’, Mrs Juno in ‘Overruled’ (Pentameters Theatre, Hampstead), Aurora in ‘How to Catch a Star’ (Blunderbus Children’s Theatre Company, UK and Singapore tour), Emily Brontë in ‘Brontë’, Lizzie Bennet in ‘Pride and Prejudice’ (Tread the Boards Theatre Company), Nor in ‘Kukunor/Kalahari’ (The Arena Theatre) and the title role in Cinderella for Daisy Chain Entertainment Group.

She enjoyed performing twice in the Leicester Comedy Festival, in ‘Barn Ultimatum’ by Tom Allsopp and ’The Turville Militant Pacifists’ by Hayley Thornton.

Katie also has a range of experience in theatre in education, performing and facilitating workshops with young people from primary school age through to young adult.
